In a unexpected partnership that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana in addition to multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
